Warmth in Care is a community-centered initiative of Karibu Pamoja Foundation focused on offering comfort and dignity to children undergoing cancer treatment. Through this program, we donate new, hand-knitted beanies to pediatric oncology patients to provide warmth, reassurance, and care during a difficult time.

This initiative is rooted in gratitude and lived experience. One of our founders’ children is a cancer survivor who received care through a local children’s hospital. Warmth in Care is a way of giving back to the healthcare community and supporting families during some of their most challenging moments.

Beanies are distributed in coordination with hospital care teams and Child Life Specialists to ensure patient privacy, safety, and alignment with hospital protocols. The program prioritizes compassion, respect, and community care over visibility.

Warmth in Care reflects Karibu Pamoja Foundation’s commitment to small, meaningful acts that support children and families with dignity and humanity.
